How to check in during Fall Writing Bootcamp

We've streamlined check-ins for the Fall Writing Bootcamp, but we encourage you to check in at least once a week. It's a great opportunity to make sure you are on track with your writing goals. We'll have a check-in blog post up every Friday, but feel free to check in when it works best for you.

The purpose of check-ins is to help keep you motivated to work towards your goals. If checking in wastes precious writing time for you (or doesn't motivate you), then skip it!

We LOVE seeing your check-ins on Twitter. Snap a quick photo of the café where you're working, a screenshot of your word count, your sticker-filled calendar - it's so much fun to see your progress! Remember to use the bootcamp hashtag, #FallWritingBootcamp, and mention @YABuccaneers - it helps us find your tweets!


On Fridays, we'll share a check-in blog post. You are always welcome to share your check-in for the week in the comments. You can also link to your Twitter status or blog post.


If you have the time to share your check-in in a blog post, here a few questions you could answer: 

  1. What did you do last week to work towards your goals?
  2. Did you meet your goals? 
  3. What are your goals for the coming week?
