Oh, What to Read?

This isn’t our usual Reading Mutiny post. Sure, we’ll have some great books to suggest, and we’d like you to read some of them, but this month, we’re giving up the challenge portion. Since the YA Buccaneers are doing a bit of a Spring Break, we thought we’d start here: read any of the books, and post about it in the comments. That’s it! What a break, right?  Okay, we’re not offering prizes this month, but aren’t these great books prizes in themselves? Sure!

While not all of these books take place during Spring Break, they all have travel and getting lost on a journey in common. Winter Break, Spring Break, Post-Graduation…remember what it was like to have a few weeks of free time ahead of you without school to think about? Everything is a potential adventure, and I think these books make the most of it.

JUST ONE DAY by Gayle Forman.

THE DISTANCE BETWEEN LOST AND FOUND by our very own Kathryn Holmes.

KING OF THE SCREWUPS by K. L. Going.

MEANT TO BE by Lauren Morrill.

PAPER TOWNS by John Green.

REVOLUTION by Jennifer Donnelly.

FROM WHAT I REMEMBER by Stacy Kramer and Valerie Thomas.

So, join us this month in celebrating the idea of freedom and a break from the normal routine. Tell us what you think about our choices? Did we miss anything you’d add to the list? Isn’t it fun just reading for the sake of reading? Have a great break!
